What makes this product sustainable?
At Eugenie, we do the research to make it easy for you to find products that you can feel good about purchasing, using, and wearing.
Each new designer we work with starts with a conversation about sustainability and how it relates to their brand and products.
Sustainability can mean many different things, we tried to break it down for you in a way that is easy to understand.
Carbon Footprint
No. 6 produces all of their clothing, shoes and accessories locally in New York, and maintains close relationships with their production partners. Practicing local production significantly cuts down carbon emissions that often accrue from transportation-related pollution.
Handmade
No. 6 is most often notably recognized for their handmade signature clogs, a successful result of their founding belief that every outfit should start with excellent footwear. Focusing on meticulous craftsmanship extends the lifespan of their products so we can keep them in our closets for years to come.
