  • Natural Materials

Kowtow garments are made exclusively from 100% organic cotton. As the most widely used fiber in global textile production, sourcing organic cotton has a significant environmental impact. Through non-toxic and low-intervention growing techniques, organic cotton farming can significantly reduce global warming, soil erosion, and energy waste compared to conventional methods.

  • Social Standards

Kowtow exclusively uses materials certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Built on four key pillars—Organic Fibers, Ecological and Social Impact, Processing Stages, and Third-Party Certifications—GOTS ensures that products meet high standards for both environmental and social responsibility.

Additionally, all of Kowtow's organic cotton is SA8000 and Fairtrade certified, guaranteeing that garments are made from fibers processed in safe facilities that uphold fair wages and sustainable trading practices. This allows consumers to feel confident that their purchases support ethical and sustainable practices.

  • B Corp Certified

Kowtow is a B Corp Certified brand, an esteemed certification that recognizes companies meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. This rigorous certification process ensures that Kowtow is committed to making responsible, mission-driven decisions that have a positive impact on both people and the planet.
