The brand partners directly with heritage craftsmen like mashroo weavers, embroidery artists, and dye masters to co-develop textiles and garments. Many of TIGRA TIGRA’s pieces are handwoven on hand-powered looms, eliminating the use of electricity.

When not utilizing deadstock textiles, TIGRA TIGRA uses hand-woven, hand-dyed, and hand-embroidered fabrics that naturally accentuate imperfection. The majority of these pieces are colored by dye masters in India who practice traditional, natural techniques. The emphasis on low-impact and irregular textile production shapes TIGRA TIGRA’s signature nonconformist style.

Close to 60% of this brand’s apparel is produced using deadstock or repurposed textiles. This approach reduces the demand for new textile production and diverts existing textile waste from landfills.
