Picada Heeled, Black

Hereu champions ethical craftsmanship by partnering with family-run ateliers and local artisans in Spain, ensuring fair working conditions and preserving traditional techniques. This localized, small-scale production model not only supports skilled labor and cultural heritage, but also reduces the environmental footprint typically associated with mass manufacturing and long supply chains.

Hereu sources its leather from Spain and Italy, in accordance with the ethical standards set by the Leather Working Group. The brand exclusively uses leather that is a by-product of the meat industry, helping to minimize environmental impact. In addition, Hereu primarily works with vegetable-tanned leather, a more sustainable alternative that avoids the harmful chemicals typically used in conventional tanning processes.
