This fall, from October 15–26, eugenie will bring its distinct approach to independent fashion to Williamsburg. Taking over Kinspace with a tightly edited selection of apparel, accessories, and fine jewelry. The outpost offers New Yorkers the opportunity to discover unique pieces that can be difficult to find under one roof from brands including Rachel Comey, No.6, Cordera, Lauren Manoogian, Nikki Chasin, Proche, and BRUCE. It will also bring together fashion, art, and design through a series of creative events and activations.
eugenie’s curation is grounded in a close attention to material, process, and place. The boutique seeks out independent labels with thoughtful approaches to making, emphasizing natural materials, sculptural silhouettes, and pieces designed to stand the test of time. The assortment ranges from soft woolen knits and structured trousers to bold, material-driven accessories made from recycled metals.
Alongside the fashion assortment, the space will feature a print publication highlighting sustainable designers in Detroit, original artwork by New York-Detroit-Toronto artist Maxine McCrann, and Detroit farm-to-table food from Molly Mitchell of Rose’s Fine Food, a New York Times-lauded restaurant.
