Designer Grant

In partnership with Song United, the 2026 eugenie Designer Grant was expanded to $20,000 in total funding, awarded across three Detroit-based designers or brands focused on environmental and social sustainability. The first-place recipient will also receive professional mentorship from our panel of industry leaders.

After a rigorous judging and interview process and with the help of industry leaders, eugenie has chosen the first place recipeint to receive $10,000 and runner up to receive $5,000.

Timothy Clark, founder of ROUGH–DRAFT®, proposed a project that aims to activate people and their connection to the outdoors. ROUGH–DRAFT® promotes holistic living both in cities and in nature, producing clothing that is suitably stylish and functional for both environments.
